call USCIS and ask them about the problem. If you get a good IO, they will open a ticket to consolidate. Try until, you get someone who sounds knowledgeable. Then take a infopass at your local office after a week to see if that helps any. I did that and took a infopass for this friday to check at local office. My PD is nov 2004. I will keep you posted.

I was playing around with it again tonight - I posted a couple more examples in the gallery area, under "landscapes".
This is not a plugin, persay. It's a PaintShop Pro script - not PhotoShop. Here's what the script does:
Split to RGB, discard G & B
"Clarify" (twice) at a high value to deepen the contrast range.
Adjusts the luminance channel to further enhance contrast.
Colorizes the image with a hue value of 160 and saturation a low setting of 20 to slightly shift grays towards blues.
I then added the original full-color image in as a layer and merged the two with partial opacity in (I think) "hue" mode.
The Clarify operation gives it an "old" look by accentuating and muddling the contrast. The lumininance adjustment makes the overall appearance more 'harsh'. The shift towards blue tends to simulate a bit of fading (like an old snaphot, I guess).
The painting-like effect comes from merging in the colors from the original.
Here's the actual script file (it's in the "Python" programming language):

I have a new eos 350 and am slowly starting to learn to use it. One problem I seem to be having is that on some of my flower shots I am finding that the reds and yellows seem to get blown. I am sure the exposure is right because I bracket like crazy. And I am shooting in raw and then use the slidebar and curve in the photoshop CS raw converter to tone down the image untill the clipping is all gone. But there is still no detail in the area in question - which was the area that showed up as blown out or clipped in the raw image.
The area I am talking about is the petal on the far side of the flower near the center of the image.
I would have assumed that because it shows up as clipped in the initial RAW image then there is no recoverable detail. However if I desaturate the image almost completely or add reds I do get some detail in the blown area.
I am using a photoshop colourspace in the camera. Saturation and exposure are set to normal.
Is this a problem with me or with the camera?

...if ppl were sitting back and relaxing after seeing the first report on the USCIS website regarding the 485 numbers. But at least the starter of this thread is an exception to that.If the USCIS dozn't update that doc monthly just like they do with the visa bulletin then something is really fishy and they'd end up fooling us again like they always do.
BUT THIS TIME WE MUST FIGHT THIS. I really feel that we have a valid reason to.Count me in...I'm not sure how v shud start (class action lawsuit)...IV moderators any ideas/plans to ask for updated reports if the USCIS fails to provide the public with this info???

Yesterday, I went for my H1b stamping but was issued a 221G. I had all documents that the VO asked for.
What are my chances of getting tbe visa without the original contract?
I had to travel to India because of a family emergency. My family is in US as kids are in school. I would really appreciate if you can answer.
Have you ever participated any of the IV's campaign on various issues. Have you ever volunteered your time or donated money.
If no, you deserve this and rot in hell. There is no solution and you people are running to IV only when disastor strikes. But its too late.

If you use your EAD, your wife will need to maintain her own status like L1, H1, F1, etc. There is no dependent status on EAD (like H4 for H1).

Hi Michael, nice shots. It's easy to see that you brought the discipline and hard work of your nature work to the studio. What was your lighting setup? Flash? strobes? How many and what positions? and how did you go about metering? They're very beautiful but just a little flat. Shadows add depth and will make the flowers pop out more. How's that for a vague concept? :) But if you have the ability to reposition the light(s) you should get some very different and interesting results. adjust to taste. shadows are good in many situations. Though there are companies that do have ethics - most of these people have exploited their employees and continue to behave unethically - they drive expensive cars and behave with arrogance on face of their employees who are working hard and earning for these cayotes.
These cayotes have this love affair with Attorneys - and they have this common protocol on how to handle their employee.
As long as the community is scared - wants to lie low and not want to rise - we will still be in this situation.
IV HAS PROVIDED AN EXCELLENT PLATFORM FOR ALL THE PEOPLE TO COME FORWARD.
I would recommend that IV members who are affected by such cayotes must utilize the resources IV has provided and try to get more media attention.
I encourage people to do youtube videos using hidden cameras when their employers are trying to talk or do dirty deals.
Write blogs, make all this visible.

<> I then left Company 1 and joined a multi national IT Giant in India - Infosy. Joined Info - Jan 07 in India . BUT I was in good terms with Company 1
<>Came back to USA , as Infosys Employee around Sep 07 on B1 visa from India for 3 months . Went back to India.
<>Rejoined Company 1 ( my Original Company ) in Jan 08 ( Petition approved) . Got visa stamp around June 08 and entered US. Got Project Aug 08 and since then on project till date.
<> While on project Aug 08 I apply for I485 as my category EB2 became current. Got my FP done.
Then Around Nov 08 I got EAD and AP papers. So I have an EAD and AP
My Q's are
<> I heard that EB2 is retrogressing to 2000 for India . Now does not apply to folks whose LC and I140 Is approved or only for those who are stuck up at I140 Stage.
Please clarify on this. If I am in a stage where I am expecting my GC and already for EAD does it apply to me
<> What is a VISA Number. There is an A# Number on MY EAD and that same number shows up on AP Document ( I512-L Authorization for parole ) . Is this the same as an Immigrant Visa # or that is something that issues when I am granted my GC.
<> 6 months have passed since I got my EAD. If I join a new Employer and start using this EAD , can I renew it infinitely, till I get GC . Please Read the SOP I-485 Section 6: Work Load Distribution (page 134 of 269)
If all earlier process is completed (NC, G235A, FP, etc, etc..) then you will come to WL Distribution phase. If you Visa# is not available then files will be kept in "visa hold self" sorted by PD. It's reviewed monthly for visa# availability.
If visa# available for your PD then file will be assigned to Adjustor.
But to reach WL Distribution, all process haved to be completed which is done based on your Receive Date(RD). I am sure FIFO didn't followed for July 2nd filer(few filer are still waiting for RN). So for all praticle purpose read Notice date(ND) inplace of RD.

Thanks for your reply. But i heard like the policies which are signed india are valid in USA becoz of the mutual countries agreement. I did actually visit an attorney and got to know from her that it is probably something that wipro might not take (action against me) but she did paused and told me that USA will of course will honor any policies that were signed in India because of bilateral agreement.

My wife got RFE on her pending 485 case. But that document is gone to old address. Some how address didn't get updated on my wife's file. Now problem is we r plannng to goto india on mar 13th and she is returning back in jun. Can i ask USCIS to send it agian that document and how many days they will give for reply back. Please advice.

Hi,
I believe if I-140 approved and was approved 120 days ago then employer cannot withdraw the application otherwise employer can always withdraw it but as most of them said it is not mandatory. Regarding H1 I believe old employer cannot do any thing once your H1 transferred over to the new employer but new employer has to get the receipt number before it gets skrewed.

My attorney mentioned it might 2 to 3 years to process an appeal, is that correct do you guys know any one who got it faster than that, he mentioned that we have to appeal to district court along with documentation of new resolution which was passed last year stating that employer has final discretion is deciding edu qualification for job role

They would however have to disclose that period of out of stay when they file the GC as G325 A asks for all status history. In other words, you will get screwed.
